South East College Arts Conference - September 24-27, 2008
I will be giving a lecture titled "Extending the Photographic Image: The World Wide Web and our New Sense of Place" as part of the panel session "Fiction, in Fact, Directions in Contemporary Photography" chaired by Mark Slankard.

"YOU ARE HERE" - SPACE GALLERY
My piece, "Strange Attractors" was chosen for this exhibit at the beautiful SPACE gallery in downtown Pittsburgh. The exhibit was curated by Robert Raczka, Professor of Art and Gallery Director at Allegheny College.

"RE.ACTION" - ANNMARIE GARDEN SCULPTURE PARK AND ARTS CENTER
I will be exhibiting my piece "Collective Direction" in this national juried exhibition that explores movement in art, with an emphasis on works that possess the illusion of movement.

"PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE BOOK ARTS AND THE BOOK IN PHOTOGRAPHY" - NEW IMAGE GALLERY
My piece, "the life of..." was chosen for this national juried exhibition on the James Madison University Campus. The show is up until April 25th.

"TRICK OF THE LIGHT" - MANIFEST CREATIVE RESEARCH GALLERY
I will be exhibiting my piece "One Body" in this national juried photography exhibit curated by Dennis Kiel, Chief Curator, The Light Factory, Charlotte, NC.

A Pacific Northwest Center for Photography project, Plates to Pixels provides exhibition opportunities for emerging and established artists working in the photography arts.

"MYSTERIOUS TRANSMISSIONS" - BLISS HALL GALLERY
Several pieces from my latest project were exhibited on the Youngstown State University Campus. The show coincided with a reception and lecture on my work.

LARSON GALLERY - NATIONAL JURIED PHOTO EXHIBITION, YAKIMA, WA, APRIL 1-28
I will be showing my piece, Wave Walk from the Flux and Form series at the 35th National Juried Photography Exhibition at the Larson Gallery in Yakima, Washington.

"MYSTERIOUS TRANSMISSIONS" - SOLO EXHIBIT AT GALLERY ONE VISUAL ARTS CENTER
This exhibit uses appropriated images from the web to examine issues of context, aesthetics, signification and meaning. Downloading low-resolution visual data from locations, such as the North Pole, Ellis Island and Antarctica, allowed me to examine the question of perceived objectivity of surveillance camera systems, and the ultimate futility they present.

"WEAVINGS: INTERLACING TEXTURE AND DESIGN" - THE PEGGY LEWIS GALLERY, YAKIMA, WA, MARCH 15-APRIL 29
"Weaving" for the purposes of this show, evokes texture, pattern, interlacing, and layering, either conceptually or literally. I will be exhibiting pieces from the "Flux and Form" series.

"RITUAL AND REPETITION" - SCHOOL OF ART, WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY, KALAMAZOO, MI
This is a nationally juried exhibition of video art. The first of several screenings will take place on March 8, 2007 in conjunction with the 2-day grand opening of the galleries in the Richmond Center. I will be exhibiting my piece "Clean Slate".

WIRED FOREST - KIRKLAND ART CENTER

FLUX & FORM SOLO SHOW - PUNCH GALLERY
