The Life of…, Handmade Book with Pigment Prints, 9 x 11 in., 2006
Using the format of a book, I combined seven different diptychs of foam from an ocean wave with a cloud. Photographed at set intervals, the book literally tells a story by documenting the vanishing life of each of these subjects and implies a relation between the two, suggesting that the brief existence of something as ephemeral as a cloud may be closer to home than we might think.
